Having moved into our new purpose built facility in October 2015 we are now in a position to expand our services to meet the needs of the local community.
The Practice consists of 8 consultation rooms, 2 nurses rooms and a large treatment area located on the first floor of the building which can be accessed by stairs or a lift. Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology is located downstairs along with our allied health rooms which can be converted into a large meeting room.
The increased space has allowed us to increase our doctor numbers as well as allied health professionals at the Practice. We will continue to expand services including more GP services and a wider variety of allied health professionals to meet the needs of the community.
We continue to train medical students and will shortly have nursing students joining us for part of their training. In addition we plan to have allied health students so that we can provide them with training in a team environment.
Recently we have been working hard to embrace the concept of the “Patient Centred Medical Home” so that we can provide a holistic service to all of our patients. We are currently working with WentWest the Primary Health Care network to develop a model of care to suit our Australian environment.
