Dr Siobhan Ballesty
Dr Ballesty grew up in the Sydney region. She completed her Bachelor of Medicine through the University of Newcastle, graduating with Distinction in 2011. Her internship and residency were completed in the Hunter/New England region. Following this she spent time working in women’s health, obstetrics and gynaecology at John Hunter Hospital, Maitland Hospital, Canberra Hospital and Manly/Mona Vale Hospitals. During these hospital postings she completed a Master in Reproductive Medicine through UNSW and a diploma of obstetrics (DRANZCOG). She is a certified inserter for Implanon, Mirena and copper intrauterine devices.
Dr Ballesty also has special interests in children’s health, skin cancer medicine and travel medicine. She has completed the Diploma of Child Health (DCH), an Advanced Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and is an Associate of the Faculty of Travel Medicine through the Australasian College of Tropical Medicine.
