This is to let you know that I will be taking time off in October. While initially I was planning a holiday, this has been postponed. So, while I will not be available for consultations I will be around and catching up on paperwork. As a result of the extra burden of the COVID pandemic I have fallen very behind in important paperwork. I am also planning to do some online courses to expand my clinical skills.
While I am away, please see one of my colleagues for your care. Fortunately, we have 3 new doctors who have joined us in the last few months who will be able to see you – Dr Saima Majeed, Dr Natasha Freeman and Dr Priyanka Ray, in addition to the other doctors in the Practice. I will be available by phone if needed during this time. Continuity of care is extremely important and all of the doctors have access to your clinical notes.
I hope that everyone has had the opportunity to have their COVID vaccinations. We do have appointments available for both Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccinations in October. If you have any questions, please make a telephone appointment with one of the doctors.
As NSW opens up, please follow public health orders. We will continue to offer telehealth appointments but I can see you face-to-face if needed. I will return from leave on November 1.
